Public Transport

The Greater Anglia Chingford to London Liverpool Street line serves Wood Street. With trains taking 19 minutes from London Liverpool Street. The train station is just a couple of minutes walk from the plaza, shops and services.

The 230 bus serves Wood Street from Upper Walthamstow to Wood Green and the W16 runs from Chingford to Leytonstone tube station (Central line) and passes Walthamstow Central (Victoria line).

By Car

Wood Street is served by 3 pay and display car parks located just off Brandon Road, Linford Road and Cuthbert Road. An additional free car park is located on Marlowe Road.

There is limited 2hr free parking bays located on Linford and Brandon Road.

There are also numerous voucher parking bays along Wood Street, which provide 15 minutes free car parking.  For longer periods, vouchers can be purchased from a number of shops on Wood Street.

  • 30 minute voucher: 80p each
  • 1 hour voucher: £1.30 each
  • Daily voucher: £7 each (only valid in bays indicating ‘Daily Voucher Bay’)

Cycling

Wood street is served by a number of cycle stands all along the street and on the plaza.
