Mothers Hub

Children’s clothes, books, gifts, events and classes

Mothers Hub is a children’s shop for 0-4 year olds selling new, nearly new & vintage clothes, hand-crafted toys, Tate kids books & gift cards.

They will also have a program of classes for 2-4 year olds and calendar based events. They have space for mums to feed and change babies and offer an area for parents/carers/visitors to stay for a coffee, read, relax whilst children can draw, read, play etc.

Angela Hicks, who founded the shop says: “We are specialising in British designed and ethically manufactured brands. Most of which are London-based and some quite local. I am also hoping to give a platform to some local makers who fit the bill”.

Angela says Mothers Hub chose Wood Street as it’s location “as I feel there are many exciting pockets of activity with a diverse audience in which to engage with. There are few baby/toddler based facilities and shops in E17 so hope to offer the community and passers by an experience which isn’t purely a retail one.”

In the new year they are also launching a photography commissioning service for location based child portraits.
